Fire Fighting Course – Level I
A practical course to learn how to handle critical situations
*Currently you can choose between classroom and distance editions, depending on course scheduling. From March 2023 , it will no longer be possible to conduct distance learning.
CLASSROOM COURSE
During the course, the participant will have the opportunity to conduct practical exercises and simulations:
- There are numerous fire extinguishers on the premises to give everyone a chance to try them out and use them;
- Fire extinguishers are always serviced and certified;
- There is a remote-controlled simulation tank of the latest technology for intervention simulations on different stages of fire;
- Realistic simulation during all activities;
- During the exercise we provide the necessary P.P.E.’s.
Our Multipurpose Center in Monza is located in the industrial area, with ample parking available. A large space dedicated to training, heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer with an air exchange and sanitization system.
The Center allows trainees practical training and instruction with modern, high-quality equipment.
DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE
The distance learning course is conducted by the instructor on the Zoom platform, live, within a virtual classroom. You do not need to have any technical skills to participate; we will send you all the useful instructions for step-by-step access to the course.
To participate, it is mandatory to have:
- Computer with webcam or smartphone
- Internet connection
- Headphones with microphone
The theoretical part gets interactive with virtual reality! During our courses, you can immerse yourself in a hyper-realistic situation and immediately put into practice the knowledge learned during the course.
We rely on an international partner active in Europe and South America and specialized in occupational safety training through virtual reality. We are the first in Italy to use this training tool of theirs.
It’s amazing how much virtual reality can help you be prepared in everyday work situations!
The course is delivered in accordance with the Decree of September 2, 2021 Criteria for the management of workplaces in operation and emergency and characteristics of the specific fire prevention and protection service, according to Article 46, paragraph 3, letter (a)(4) and letter (b) of Legislative Decree April 9, 2008, no. 81. (OJ No. 237, 4-10-2021) LEGISLATIVE DECREE SEPTEMBER 2, 2021
Until March 2023, editions related to low-risk firefighting training may be available with the contents and modalities of DL March 10, 98.
Program
FIRE AND PREVENTION
– Principles of combustion;
– Combustion products;
– Extinguishing substances in relation to the type of fire;
– Effects of fire on humans;
– Prohibitions and restrictions on operation;
– Behavioral measures.
FIRE PROTECTION AND PROCEDURES TO BE ADOPTED IN CASE OF FIRE
– Main fire protection measures;
– Evacuation in case of fire;
– Rescue call.
PRACTICAL EXERCISES
– Review and clarification of portable fire extinguishers;
– Practice on the use of portable fire extinguishers;
– Fire logbook review, clarification and exercise regarding
Mode
The Fire Fighting Level I course is 4 hours in duration. It consists of a theoretical part and a practical part in case of a classroom course. At the end of the training, there will be an evaluation test on the topics covered in class. Upon passing the test, a certificate will be issued within 24h after the end of the course.
Validity
The regulations require updating every 5 years.

When is the certificate issued?
Once the final learning test is passed, the certificate is issued within 24 hours of the end of the course. The certificate is sent directly to the company.
